Gun dog training for pet dogs is all about teaching your dog focus, self control and confidence. The training is based on games and challenges that are both mentally and physically stimulating, whilst channelling your dog's energy, excitement and prey drive. These exercises can help improve your dog's recall, lead walking, sit, stay and their ability to remain calm and focused around distractions, both on and off lead .
Dogs of all breeds and ages can join any of my pet gun dog training classes and workshops.
We will use canvas dummies, toys and balls to suit every dog's preferences and requirements.
Long training (trailing) lines will be used initially for dogs that are still learning a solid recall around distractions.
I only use science and reward based training methods and techniques.

The first session covers foundation skills such as eye contact, stationary behaviour, chin rest and send around.
The second session covers whistle skills.
Improves your dog's engagement, communication, focus, loose lead walking, recall, calmness and listening skills.

Suitable for dogs of all breeds, ages and physical abilities.

The first session covers directions skills such as send away, platform training and multiple targets.
The second session covers quartering and setting up real life scenarios and practicing all skills.
Improves your dog's engagement, communication, focus, loose lead walking, recall, calmness and listening skills.
Small groups to ensure all participants get enough 121 help and guidance.
Suitable for dogs of all breeds, ages and physical abilities.
